What a productive 1 hour clean up at Brownie the Town Dog‘s grave this morning!

We pulled a ton of weeds, picked up all the trash, and even had time to pull all the St. Augustine grass that had taken over the bushes! We collected 4 large trash bags full of trash and weeds.

Thank you to Suanne Kimmel, Tracy Marino, and Lisa Blythe for joining me to make Brownie’s grave look awesome!

I say this all the time, but it needs to be repeated. We are all so busy, but taking just an hour out of our day can really change things for the better. Cleaning up this little corner of the park may not seem like much, but it really has an impact. We not only preserve Daytona Beach history and clean the park, we are showing passersby and the City of Daytona Beach that we care about our community.

Please consider joining us for our next 1 hour clean up on September 3, 2017 at 10 am.
